This thermal paste gives me 7 degrees higher temperature than another MX-4 (2019). The mixture looks different. I'm not 100% sure if it's original. I tested with a processor i5-8600К - 4.8Ghz OC 1,28V + CLC240 Evga on CINEBENCH R20 . I did two tests one after the other with each paste separately with my PC . (78 degrees with thist hermal paste vs 71 degrees with my arctic mx-4 2019).

Was easy to use,after I practiced a couple times on a piece of paper. It's only been a couple since I installed a new CPU in my vintage desktop,so I can't speak for long term performance,but no heat issues yet,after installing upgraded windows,tweaking settings,and running antivirus scans. the least expensive top performing thermal paste in large quantity tube I could find. Not disappointed. Spreads well. I'm old school and coat my CPUs in thermal paste with a slight bulge in the center, no thicker than a sheet of paper. I've never had issues with thermal throttling, SMD shorts, or even overflow messes. MX-4 works very well for this, but does take a little more patience to spread than Arctic Silver.

Just like the title says, it works and it was easy to apply. My old Inspiron desktop was in dire need of having the thermal paste reapplied and the temps dropped dramatically. Was heating to near 60C in both cores just using a web browser. Now it stays between 30 and 40 when being used hard.
