Worth the price if what you're after is quiet; clean, and great quality sound.
Anyone who's done even a little research already knows that the Mogamis are excellent cables that are quiet, well built, have phenomenal range, and have an excellent warranty. From their website: "Lifetime Warranty: All Mogami cable assemblies are made with the finest cable, connectors, and assembly practices in the industry. We are extremely proud of our reliability, and problems are quite rare. However, should you experience trouble with our product, our Lifetime ("No Excuses") warranty to the original purchaser assures you are completely protected should something unfortunate occur." I personally only use Mogami; as do just about ALL professional studios. Indeed the up front cost is more for your initial investment. In this case you get what you pay for – an excellent cable with an ... Go ahead and A/B these with the cheaper cables and hear the difference for yourself - and they hold up better too!

This is an actual Marshall Electronics produced Mogami Gold XLR cable with Neutrik gold connectors. Marshall Electronics is the parent company that owns Mogami cable and I only trust Mogami Gold cables made by them in their production facility in California. There are many folks producing what they refer to as "Mogami Gold " cables in their home shops or being offered by cable shops from around the country and although they do use raw Mogami Gold cable and Neutrik gold connectors you always have to be cautious of the build quality and the warranty offered. One thing to keep in mind when purchasing any Mogami cable is that they utilize a wrapped shield system as opposed to a braided shield system.
