    I'm only a few chapters in but am really enjoying this informative book, backed by extensive research, on this very important topic of what to eat for optimum health. My one and only complaint is that the print is very small. I'm very glad I bought this and will continue reading.

  • Doctors Orders

    I asked my doctor if there was one, complete nutritional guide that was easy to understand and follow. He quickly said "Eat, Drink and Be Healthy". The book presents a different slant on the Healthy Eating Pyramid than the government's version and then goes on to support his healthier version. Dr Willet has a reputation as being a clear writer without any special interests to bias his opinions. His pyramid is not radical and does not call for eating out of the ordinary foods. Basically, exercise a lot and eat many fruits and vegetables. Drop the trans fats and go for Olive Oils. Lots of other explanations and advice but that's the crux of it! How simple is that? I can easily recommend this book to anyone who cares about their health.
