Unfortunately (easy mistake), the plates were not the pattern in the description. The positive is no problem w/ return and refund. The packing of the plates were exceptional. Shipping costs is what it is...If I found another item I needed, would have no problem doing business w/ this seller again.

Bought two different listed items from this seller. They kindly packaged and shipped both items together, which saved me a lot on shipping. Items arrived quickly in perfect condition. Communication with seller was exceptional. Would definitely buy from them again.

A must have for collectors of Hull Pottery and McCoy Pottery

These books update the prices from the late 90s to 2003 prices. Both books include ample high quality pictures of a lot of pieces, with good descriptions in the text. If you are looking for a good reference to gauge the inflation of value, each book gives you that, as long as you have the first edition also. Looking forward to an edition with more current prices.

  • The Collector's Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery

I love the pictures and the history of Hull pottery. Such beautiful pieces and some are very unusual. What I dislike about the book is the way the value of the pieces is in the back of the book, and you have to look up by page numer, item number, etc. Wish this info was available on the same page as the item itself. Otherwise, it gives me the information I need when buying and selling Hull Pottery.

  • Knowledge on Pottery

I really enjoy looking and reading this book. It contains a great wealth of knowledge and very nice illustrated pictures.

  • Hull Pottery Book, Brenda Roberts

I did not like the prices and items listed in the back of the book rather than with the pieces. Makes it harder to find out the approximate value of a piece. The pictures were clear and showed many pieces. Overall a nice book. Just takes a little more work to find out the value of the piece is all. I am not sorry I sent for it. I wanted this book to help me be more noligable about Hull pieces I run across at auctions, estate sales, Etc.
