There was no protective padding in the box and the laptop would not boot up. After plugging it end, it immediately threw a "CPU Failure" code. Upon inspection of the power cord, I noticed the protective sheath had been pulled out of the male end leading to the power block and a severed wire along the power cord. 100% unacceptable from a so called "authorized refurbisher." STAY AWAY!
