    Worked perfectly

    Needed to repair a stripped m12 x 1.25 thread in aluminium casting, so drill and tap cut quite easily. In fact the drill tended to cut fast and snatch the drill sideways, so if I ever have to do another I would try drilling first with an intermediate size bit. The thread coil was longer than needed so I ground off a couple of rings with a small Dremmel cutter disc, but had overlooked that as the coil goes in it squeezes down to a smaller diameter and therefore still left some surplus protruding and had to grind off another couple of rings

    Thread repair kit - that's what it's called and that's exactly all you need (apart from a drill).

    Worked absolutely fine. I had a new spark plug inserted in my Honda Superdream motorbike in about 10mins! ........mind you it was a day to remove and install the cylinder head.

    God and solid

    Works very well but instructions would be beneficial, need to move the collar down the shift to push the top of the insert, wasted 2 inserts before I realised! Good and strong. P.S. remember to blow or flush out any swarf in the taped hole.
