Brilliant result. The Ebay product was perfect for an un-trained person. I was looking for one that had the same structure as a broken one. I needed an on/off switched 50ohm potentiometer to fix a beauty salon's ring-light which would have cost £100 to replace. This little device did the job perfectly, and as a real novice I succeeded in melting the old solder on the circuit board, and replace the fitting. Job done, for less than a fiver.
