This lens definitely performs like a F0.95 lens for its light gathering capability, however, this lens does not appear to be properly IR corrected. When I use a UV-IR and a 850nm long-pass filter, the focus of the lens changes significantly. There also appears to significant spherical aberration when the lens is at maximum aperture. At 3mm, the lens produces a very right image, but at 8mm the image dims significantly. (Like a f1.3 lens) The DC iris mechanism is completely closed when unpowered.
