Organized to raise consciousness about climate change, the LIVE EARTH concert event featured a series of international performances by more than 100 major musical acts in July of 2007. Issued later in the year, this release distills the day down to two DVDs and one CD, with the audio-only portion presenting 15 tracks by various artists. Highlights of the LIVE collection include Foo Fighters' impassioned, energetic "Times Like These" and Corinne Bailey Rae and John Legend's soulful rendition of Marvin Gaye's classic "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)."     Live Earth - The Concerts for a Climate in Crisis (2007

    After watching the concerts live back in July, I could not wait for this CD. This CD/DVD combo dose not disappoint, they did a good job getting the good bits pulled together. I would have liked to see more from the lesser known artists, but overall great music.

    Good show, glad I bought the DVD

    I enjoy watching music DVD's when there are various artists. It gives a chance to see and hear new artists that you never heard of, of course it would be asking too much to expect to like every song on this 2 disc show. But I have to say I did enjoy it. The quality of the sound and the picture was great, no complaints. I would suggest this DVD, I'm glad I decided to purchase it.
