The Blues Brothers 2000 not as good as the original, but sequels rarely are.Great songs again, James Brown, and Aretha Franklin as wicked as ever, and some great set pieces -- 6345789 with Eddie Floyd comes to mind. Will watch again and again even just for "Rawhide!"
I bought DVD package to share the Blues Brothers entertainment with others following a stage performance. I liked the extravagant nonsense of the film themes and the performances of the players, particularly because of the big time gap between the release of the two films. I disliked the bad language element in the first film - not necessary for enhancing quality of performance. For me the product compares better than others - Blues Bros are in a class of their own.I bought DVD package to share the Blues Brothers entertainment with others following a stage performance.
