makes you believe in angels!!

I love this movie! Too bad no one else does.
I have loved this movie ever since I first watched it in college. I was kinda disappointed when I got the VHS copy because I thought I was going to wear it out. But was glad to see that it was released under Criterion Collection. Every time I have recommended this movie or lent it to someone to watch they always return with the same comment, they liked City of Angels better. Even though City of Angels was loosely based on Wings of Desire they are very different movies. This movie is basically a poem captured on camera. The visuals and the dialog play against each other so well that I wouldn't ever change a thing. It does not play up to the Hollywood stereotype.
