Reviews
"The voice is still deep, the subject matter is still sex, the songs are still long...and the orchestration is still layered, complex and hypnotic..." - Rating: B-, 3 stars out of 5 - "...as rampant as a stallion...it's nevertheless greatly entertaining, the big man even committing musical adultery with 2 versions of 'The Longer We Make Love', one duet with Chaka Khan, the other with Lisa Stansfield..."

I paid £3.62 for a book in “used-very good” condition. The book arrived in very poor condition with a price label of £1.50 on the front cover! I contacted the seller and was issued a full refund in minutes. Hence the positive feedback.

Book arrived on time, well packed and as described but beware offer of free postage does not include packing which would appear to be £2 as the book is clearly labelled as £1.50 - see photo

  • Staying Power Indeed .....

Ooooh, it's alright Mr White cooos Lisa Stansfield on one of 2 versions The Longer We Make Love (the other being with Chaka Khan). This was Barry's final album and whilst not universally brilliant it is rather good - Barry marries his wonderous vocal sound and production with just enough contemporary sound to create an enjoyable mix. The Lurve God is back but he never really went away, did he ? BFP
