Edge of the seat drama with human interest and intrigue.
A very atmospheric film that builds slowly revealing the insight as to what makes the main character challenging. An Alaskan fishing port and small village community dependent on the trawler industry for survival and the illegal importing of currency develops into aspects of greed and rivalry of a small gang that involve the locals for the purpose of taking hostages and blackmailing them into helping. The music score has an important role too in keeping the pressure on the action. David Caruso is again brilliant in this drama as both the hunter and the hunted in overcoming his own tragic experiences of losing his daughter to find love with the wife of a killer and attempts to rescue her for a better life shared together.
