I got this phone as I wanted GPS and a decent camera in my phone at a budget but having chunky fingers I needed a decent keypad. I do wish that you could get a standard phone numeric keypad phone with GPS but I could not find one. I can't compare this phone to other smartphones as this is the first one I have brought. My other phone was a '3' S2 Skype-phone but here goes: When I first got the phone the battery life was only half a day even with bluetooth, wireless etc turned off. This problem resolved itself when I finally did a full upgade via sony ericsons update software (my phone was already up-to date but I did a clean install) I now get 2 days use out of the phone between re-charges. I would love to be able to uninstall some of the bundled software from Sony Ericson because they are useless to me and do cause the system to crash occassionally. The only way to recover when the system locks I found is to take the battery out for 5 seconds and then re-start the phone. This can be annoying. The flip out keyboard is great. I have 'chunky fingers' and got this phone because Blackberry keypads are to small for me. These keys are well spaced even for my fingers. You are limited on the number of apps you can install because you cannot get them to install to the memory card but for what I need, this is not a major issue. The screen is clear to read and I can't complain about the colours etc because they are more than adaquate. You can install pretty much any apps you want so the phone will work how you want it to. You can even make the phone voice controlled via free Android Market apps. This is great for car-hands free. This phone was only £63 when I got it so it was a real bargain. It is not the most up-to-date version but I can live with that. In summary: For people with chunky fingers this phone is brill. The touch screen is very sensitive but you get used to that quickly. The camera is great for what I need and the videos are fine also unless it is night time at a distance, then again even flash only has a certain range on any camera. The phone is very handy. I needed a small phone that I only need for talk and text. The phone has a GPS also. The phone is an android but only the 1st generation. Camera is excellent. The seller was quick to reply to my questions. I only gave 4 stars because the backlight on the right side of the keyboard doesn't work and I understand that this is an old classic phone.

Many features, very nice touch screen (I used an LG Cookie which had a crappy touch screen), many features, Android OS which is good but Mini Xperia's can only be upgraded to 2.1 version. Camera is good but the LED Flashlight won't do much work for taking pictures @ night.Battery life is really poor. It can be compared with other products as for it's size, which is very small and also has a very good qwerty keyboard! I've got big hands and both touch screen and qwerty keyboard doesn't bother me!
The design of the phone is cute AND useful. Perfect to have the touchscreen virtual keyboard or the real one. I think it is a little feminine gadget, right with its size -you need small fingers, for real- that makes it easy to carry, almost a fashion accesory. It is still an Android phone, so if you dont like to poke around App Market you can use it as it is, though it is a bit of a waste if you dont download things and use Google Services. Quality of the phone is a little above average. As its price. Summary: Recommended. Please, dont go mad over updates if you buy it. Sony Ericsson is slow making them. Accept this and you'll be OK.
Phone does not have 3g/4g GSM. Will no longer work with AT&T network for anything other than voice and text. Wifi works but slow from being outdated operating system. Other than that, this phone is great. Wish they still made phones this size with updated technology for today's use.
