This lens has quickly become my go to lens with my EOS M6 Mark II. I own all of the M series lenses for this camera except for the Macro and this 18-150 covers the focal lengths I need for about 80% of my photos. The only drawback is the slower aperture but when I need that for indoor or portrait work the 32MM F1.4 come out of my camera bag. The focus on the 18-150 is quick and the image stabilization a great add for nature photography.

Pros: Light weight, small, good balance with M-series cameras, sharp focus, 1.5 foot macro, good zoom range Cons: Poor low-light AF, No Manual focus option, Made in Malaysia, cheap plastic feel, plastic mount (not durable). If there was a lens that was faster, such as f/2.8-4, same zoom, had a manual focus switch, and metal mount, I would get it over this lens I have seen the long-term results of plastic mount lenses and likely to become brittle over time and temperature.

I use it with my canon m50 mark ii... get good sharp images. this is the best all around lens you can buy for this camera. i take this lens with me everywhere i take the camera. decent portrait photos. i would use a fixed 30mm lens for the best portrait photos.

Purchased this lens as my daily use lens as I had two kit lenses that came with the Canon M50 and didn't want to keep swapping back and forth. Took the 18-150mm lens on vacation and shot over 1600 pictures with it and the images were very good. I didn't see distortion or vignetting at either ends of the zoom range and the color was very good. I also shot images with the 15 - 45mm kit lens for comparison and didn't notice any quality differences. I'm not a professional photographer, but I do like taking a lot of pictures and playing around with the programmable settings on the Canon M50. With the higher F stops, I increased the light setting in Programmable Mode to help off set low light situations and it worked out for my shooting needs and the pictures came out better. For the money paid, this was a very good lens to add to my Canon kit.Read full review

The Canon EF-M 18-150mm lens is the perfect "all around" lens for a Canon M series mirrorless camera. It covers the 35mm equivalent range of 18 to 240mm, which is most of what I ever need. The lens is really sharp, and distortion is minimal. It is also compact and light. This is the lens I use for about 90% of my pictures.
