Read like your life depends on it.

This book should be required reading for all motorcycle riders. I am 68, and I used to ride back in my 20s. I found that there was actually a lot of dangerous riding situations that I was previously unaware of. If you ride or care about someone who rides, get this book. Read it. Share it. You will find some fresh "survival strategies" to improve your chances. You might recognize a hidden danger before it gets you.

  • Tips on surviving other motorists and road hazards.

Very useful information for novice and experienced riders alike. Focus is on tactics for riding safely to avoid common causes of accidents. Gives simple explanations behind the physics of how bikes respond to turns, stops, etc; common causes of various accidents and how to avoid them. It explains how to handle certain road conditions like milled roads, construction, rain, heat, and even icy roads. Easy to read and much more interesting than the BRC.

  • The benchmark for becoming a better rider

This book is the standard that every motorcyclist should read, and then read again. As a motorcycle trainer, I highly recommend this book. Easy to read, and understand with real life examples. This is designed to make riding safer and more enjoyable.
