Great little camcorder from Panasonic. It is on the low end, but for the price, you can't beat it. I read a review that says you can not edit your videos... Well, I have had two of these cameras for a couple years now, and I have no problem editing my videos via Corel VideoStudio Pro X2 right on my computer. Very professional looking too! I took this camera mounted between the handlebars on a motorcycle trip (Harley Davidson) through the Blue Ridge Parkway and Deals Gap in 2008. Nearly 1800 miles. If it wasn't raining, I was filming. It weathered the abuse like a trooper and still works like new today. As I said, I have two of them and use them to catch multiple angles of the same action (Bow shooting) and they work superbly and provide footage that rivals what you would see on television! Especially if you slow the footage down to watch the arrow fly in slow motion!! :) The only bad thing I can think of is no "Night Shot". I don't find myself needing to shoot at night anyway, so to me it's not a bid deal.Read full review

I LOVE THIS CAMCORDER. I am not technologically savy, so I wanted a camcorder that was really easy to use. It is my first one of this kind so I had to get used to first, finding the right DVD's for it, and second how to finalize the DVD to be able to play it directly on the DVD player. This camcorder is super easy to use, and if you set it on extended play, even the 30 minute mini DVD will last you 1 hour and 10 minutes. The battery takes a long time to charge, but it will easily last you about 2 hours. It was perfect for recording Christmas memories having a 3 and a 1 year old boy and girl. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a camcorder not very expensive, super easy to use, and be able to directly play the finished DVD on the DVD player, no formatting required. The good thing about this camcorder, is that even if you decide to record only part of the DVD, you can finalize it so you can watch it on the DVD player, then you can unfinalize it to use the remainder of the DVD. It is amazing !!!!!!!!Read full review
It lacks all the features that you typically miss in the entry-level models – a 2.5” rather than 2.7” LCD, and there is no still media card because the camcorder doesn’t take stills. This is definitely Panasonic lowest-end DVD. Pro: 30x optical zoom, great manual controls, quick start, battery life, image stabilization Con: bad lcd viewfinder, no software for editing, no still features, no night shot
I bought a DVD DIGA Palmrecorder VDR-D100. I have to say that this is one of the best palmcorder's I've owned. The recording cuality was great and I love that it didn't have like 100 buttons for different features. It just has all the simple features you'll actually need.
