It works. Aluminium stained very quickly but that's just cosmetic. Does not come with a trivet to hold things off the bottom so, if you're sterilising stuff in glass or plastic, it's basically useless until you add something. Should have paid a bit more for a better quality item with a trivet, but it got me started.
