  • Charles Bukowski a review for E-Bay.

This author is,and will remain, one of my favorites of all time writers. He writes in a style that makes you feel he is sitting in front of you telling you the story. His total disrespect of authority of any kind,be it petty bureucrats as in the unemployment line or the Police, endears him to a great and large segment of the population who no doubt feel the same way but are too shy? scared? to go toe to toe with them.It reminds me of a small part of a story he wrote where he's in a deli carrying 4 quarts of beer and the clerk is giving him a hard time about something or other and he drops a quart on the tile floor where it EXPLODES like a bomb"just to see what it sounded like"drops another with same effect and finally clerk gets the message and lets him go on his way...Crazy guy, crazy writer!
