Inexpensive Wireless Call System
(1) The pendant is a little larger and heavier than something like a Life Alert pendant. (2) Automatically shuts off after a short period, which is nice late at night. (3) Adjustable volume, which I wish it could go louder. I'm playing it into a dual station baby monitor in order to get adequate volume throughout the house (accustomed to a super-loud Life Alert monitor announcing that it is dialing). (4) Permits a family member to call for toileting assistance without Life Alert dialing their monitoring unit (something that previously resulted in late night return phone calls which needed to be answered and cleared or else EMS would be called). (5) Has a setting to play different tones. (6) Comes without batteries (needs 1 standard lithium CR-2032 coin type for the pendent, and ...
