  • Try reading these poems out loud!

The first copy of this book was purchased while we still lived in Albuquerque when the kids were in grade school, and their favorite poem was Homework, Oh Homework. They even memorized it ON THEIR OWN and loved showing off! My favorite is Ebenezer Bleezer's wonderful ice cream store (if you like tongue-twisters, this one if made just for you!) I'm glad I once again have this one in my library, and am introducing it to the grandkids!

  • Great nostalgic book to share with kids

I loved this book as a child and bought it to share with my kids. It is full of silly poems written from the a child's point of view. If you like Shel Silverstein, you need to check out this book and others from Jack Prelutsky. :)

  • Great for all ages!

Very good book! My youngest daughter in the 5th grade told that she really wanted this book. Once I received the book, I read the first poem and I couldn't put it down. I kept reading to my daughter and laughed. Excellent book to own.
