    Tubular excitement..... A journey to ring the bells.

    It makes all my mind bells ring out very good honest book by Mike oldfield. Read within days the journey of tubular bells. The Manor technical recording difficulties. A lion sleeping in your bedroom. A musical for every book shelve. It's serious its heartbreaking chance taking its funny take this book to bed and expect little sleep for a few nights ending wiDth a happy smiling sleep.. Regards to all. David Taylor.

    A good read.

    Very nice autobiography. Covers his early years very well. I read it in a day. Highly recommended for those who like Oldfield's music. I prefer the early stuff myself.

    great read on a master musician!

    I am a fan of musical bio's, and Mike's autobiography was not disappointing. While many rock bio's end up being all the same after a while (ie, band works hard, band gets into lots of trouble with substances, band ends up hating each other, band breaks up) this bio was not like that. It was a great insight in Mike's life. Being a long time fan, it was very interesting reading about the origins of some of his great works. This book is highly recommended.
