    Band of Brothers

    From the out set of this is a gripping series it show's the dedication of these courageous men that enlisted to fight for freedom. The interspersion of documentary style comments at the start of each episode from the real survivors forces you to understand that this really happened and adds to the realism and truly shows the bravery of what these men (young men) had to endure from day one. To parachute straight in behind enemy lines and immediately be thrown into bloody combat is unthinkable. This series is beautifully filmed and the acting is gripping. If ever you needed to see what happened in WW2 this is more than just a snapshot of what these men had to do. Lest we forget Enjoy.

    Great tin box set very pleased with this item great value and in vgc. Only slight minor grips are that it was a little late arriving and the packaging would have benefited by having stiffeners around the box as it arrived with slight impact dagage to the lid and side of box assuming during transit

    An enduring epic miniseries

    I first read Stephen Ambrose's book on which the series is based. Then watched the section on the making of the film and the video diary. Then took in the interviews with the veterans - very interesting. Finally watched the series. Outstanding authentic feel which of course Hanks and Spielberg were dedicated to producing.
