A Fine Book to Pass on to the Next Generation
I fell in love with The Great Railway Bazaar many years ago, read it several times, and bought this copy to give to my oldest grandson, who just completed hitchhiking around the world. I have read all of Theroux's travel books and enjoy not only his accounts but seeing how the author has changed over the years, gotten a bit wearier and through experience a bit more jaded.
