Ganong was a fantastic Physiology Book I used nearly 50yrs ago when a medical student. It was brilliant, clear and had an incredibly readable font. Thought I'd do a bit of quick revision. The updated 26th edition retails at about £68 and this 2010 23rd edition was just under £7. Different font - but as good as ever. Maybe slightly out of date but it'll do me nicely as a reference book. The book was an ex-library book - but was in good nick (with a plastic cover) and arrived promptly. 5 star!

    What a bargain! Years worth of good cooking for such a small price :)

    We bought this book as die-hard fans of Aga cooking and were not disappointed. It combines creative cooking with Mediterranean flavours and we just know that the slow cooking will favour both of these elements. Can't wait to try some of the heartier recipes in the colder weather.
