item came very fast after purchase, and well packaged. Surprisingly competitive prices with other fragile items for shipping. The lower cost of shipping did not impact on the integrity of the fragile item. Everything was as described. after cleaning of the microscope, I found it to be in a very good working condition. The lack of description whether it is a functional microscope or not was complicating my purchase decision, but it seemed to work out!
