Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in PC & Console VR Headsets
This is was my first dive in VR, but I have to say it's been a positive experience overall considering the current price. Pros: Easy set-up. Lightweight headset and controllers. 3.5mm Headphone jack is there, because it matters. Head mount is quite comfortable and has a good fit most of the time. Decent open-source software-side support and selection of games available on the market. Some people might not be able to wear bigger glass frames. For me this wasn't an issue though. Cons: Oculus software taking up a lot of space, consider installing it on HDD if possible. Only a single display instead of dual. The display is running at 80hz, and some popular games just don't run smooth enough, which results in less comfortable play. My 75hz monitor looks ultra-smooth by comparison. Only software implemented IPD adjustment. The Field of View or FOV is pretty low and in most cases cannot be adjusted, which ends up in less comfortable play. The headstrap speakers could be a bit better. They're just ok. So most of the time it's just better to use your own earphones or IEMs.Read full review

I bought this for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and it works ok for this. Sitting in a plane is more immersive but you will need a high end GPU. My Nvidia GTX 1080 can struggle sometimes. Lowering the detail in game makes it useable but could be better. I think once you try MSFS in VR it's hard to go back to a screen. The Rift S is a good product as long as you have a beefy PC.

The Oculus Rift S is the Upgrade from the CV1 no.1 a more comfortable headset no.2 the easiest set up just two cables into your PC no.3 this is a more clearer headset has a higher resolution from the CV1 no.4 you do not lose tracking in VR and has no Screen door effect. The only bad thing about the headset it does not have a physical IPD it has software IPD adjustment which some people might find annoying but there's no difference between the two it still cames across as a great headset.

I tried vr for very first time and this experience is totally different then watching someone play on youtube ... sensors are 99.9 percent accurate just the sound quality could be improved or some extra attachment for oculus would be much appreciated apart from that i am satisfied, people who are having problems obviously they using it wrong so don't worry and go for it

I have been thinking of going VR for a while, but couldn't justify around £600-£1000 price tag. When the rift s came out at £400 i thought now is the time and with another drop of £50 i just had to buy. Whoa was i glad i did, some of the games/apps look stunning and are great when friends/family come round. Elite dangerous and DCS look great and very immersive, setting up takes about 10-15mins. A couple of pointers though, for the free movement best to have 2m v 2m free space more the better BUT the more you have the less wire you have and the wire can get in the way, but for the sitting down experence this can easily be over come. The other 1 and probably the worst thing is sweating after my son played beat saber for over a hour and gave me it back the sponge was ringing wet, so much so i had to remove it and clean it and dry it. I also ended up buying replacement face mask and head band for the more heavy playing sessions. But overall i would still recomend the Oculus Rift S 100% especially if you was like me and on the fence thinking about it.Read full review

You will definitely need a decent spec PC, but if you do these are a necessity! I love the immersion you get when gaming with the rift. Fantastic experience.

The tracking is better than base stations. Which means you dont to rewire the base stations to move around the room as this does all the tracking for you. Only complaint is the halo band on its tightest setting still leaves a fingers gap behind my girlfriends head, I recommend using a towel to fill it. Shes 20 so I'm surprised It doesnt fit

Wonderfully made, high end, easy to connect to PC and comes with an adapter for other devices. The box is well made, thoroughly padded and protective inside too. There's even batteries for the controllers. My son asked for this for Christmas - to be fair he's asked for it all year - and while I was a bit wary of the price tag, I can honestly say it is worth every penny. Not just fun for kids, everyone can have a go - I wear glasses all the time and the headset fits comfortably over them with no fogging. Also has potential for use with learning as well as being a gaming machine. Brilliant.
