    Not what it may seem

    The impression on some sellers sites is that this is a USB3 reader. In fact, the slots will only read cards at USB2 speed. There is a USB3 slot but be warned, as this is not intended to be plugged into a USB3 motherboard header but to go out of the back of your pc and then to be plugged into a back USB3 port. You need to purchase the next model up to get overall USB3 speed.

    Akasa AK-ICR-07U3 Internal Multi card reader 6 Slot with USB 3.0 Port

    Good quality works fine as a card reader.The usb 3 port needs an internal usb 3 connection so an internal pcie card is needed apart from that a recommended product
