It solves a unique problem of having excessive length between the socket and a torque wrench. The lower stack height helps maintain control of the part when applying torque. Only fixing the overly secure retention at the ball detent makes it hard to remove from the wrench and adding a second magnet to maintain secure retention of the socket would make this flawless. Still glad to have it. Shipped fast! Thanks! A+
