This book is a decent reference, especially since these days, most software companies don't provide printed instructional matter with their applications, forcing users to rely on (ugh) on-line Help files. There are times, however when i consult this book, that I yearn for more comprehensive information. Example: I wanted to use the Shake Reduction feature, but since that command is buried along the top in the Enhance drop-down, searching for it was nerve-wracking. The book got me right to where I had to go order to use this feature, which ended my having to search for it. After locating the feature I consulted the book on its use, but the instructions didn't give me enough to go on. Yes, I understand that the book's content must be scaled down in order to maintain a lower price, but I sometimes yearn for greater detail, rather than struggle with trial-and-error methods of learning. Nowadays, PS Elements is a serious app, rather than just a scaled-down version of Photoshop, and it deserves greater scrutiny by outside instructional publications, for which I'm willing to shell out more for. That's why I consider "Photoshop Elements 15 for Dummies" to be more like an introduction to the app, rather than a highly informative, comprehensive instructional source. It's a good value for the money, but I want MORE!Read full review

Was great to get one started.....but in terms of the capabilities of photoshop elements I'm only scratching the surface. Book appears to allow me to proceed with minimal effort.....
