Awesome keyboard for its size...
I also own a Triton Pro 88 key workstation. But it is a beast to haul, so it's permanently stored where I play a regular gig. I needed something to play at home. This keyboard fit the bill. Same basic keyboard, a few less features, but overall, I love the feel of the weighted keys. As a classically trained pianist, I do all of my dynamics through touch/weight. This keyboard allows me quite of bit of that same ability. Many of the same options as the larger Triton, but missing half an octave on bottom and half an octave up top. (And it's about 30 pounds lighter, which makes it much easier to transport). Overall, it still gives me the ability to practice/play and prep/plan or just sit and jam for my own enjoyment. A reliable workhorse instrument for the gigging musician
The Korg Triton LE was the "lite" edition of the Triton series. It offered fewer options than the Studio or Extreme models, but offered many of the same sounds,combinations and features found on the more expensie models. First the good stuff: The 88-key model has fully weighted piano keyboard that is touch and velocity sensitive. 64-note polyphony. Like all Tritons, if has flexible arpeggiators that allow for many rhythmn combinations. The machine is especially good for dance tracks, techno or synth drum beats. It is easy to play right out of the box. The assignable knobs make it easy to make "on the fly" adjustments to sounds, tempos, etc. The LE model weighs a little less than other Triton models, in part because it has fewer features. Korg offers excellent ... The Korg Triton LE was the "lite" edition of the Triton series. Korg offers excellent support for its "legacy" (no longer made) instruments, so software updates, sound patches, FAQs, user manuals and other items are easily accessible from the Korg website. On the down side, Korg cuts some corners on the Triton LE to reduce costs. The machine lacks the large touch-screen display of more expensive models. It doesn't have as many expansion slots as other models. It lacks the sampling capabilities of other Tritons, although that can be added. The LE requires "smart media" cards to import data. (other Tritons had 3.5 inch floppy drives or SCSI drives.) Smart cards work well, but they are getting harder to find. Newer Korg Workstations (TR, M50, etc.) have USB interfaces that allowed direct connection with the computer. And, I prefer pitch or modulation "wheels" instead of the joystick control used on Korgs. All in all, this is a great unit. It is easy to use in live perforamances. The display is easy to read and the control layout is good. Korg gear is well made and durable. The weighted board is great for piano, horn and orchestral sounds where touch is important. I play in variety bands where the keyboard player covers for a lot different instruments and musical styles and I can alwasy dial in the right sound on the Triton. Used Tritons are a good value. If you want the latest technology, you should look elsewhere. There are newer workstations with more features and more memory, but for a performance board in most settings, a Triton is an excellent choice.

Awesome keyboard, with great sounds and easy to use.
These are great keyboards and very light weight, which makes if perfect for portability. The sounds are remarkable, it feels like a toy, but sounds like a "Triton".

best keyboard for the money.....hands down.
super light, will fit in a standard rectangular guitar case. Althought this is a dated synthesizer, it has a number of worthy programs that stand up to todays demand for basic keyboard sounds....consider.....a few hundred,instead of a few thousand dollars.

Kord X50 61 key music synthsizers
It's fun to play with but Without the software serial number and/or the lock code you have no access to the KORG software on line, so it is limited in it's capabilities due to the above stated issue. I tried to register it and without the expected information. I was not able to register it. So make sure when you purchase one of these make sure the software and lock codes are available.
