Unfortunately any parcel shipped outside of the US via eBay's International Shipping Program is subject to eBay's choice of carrier to complete the delivery. Sellers in the program ship to an eBay distribution hub in the US and eBay takes over from there. It's very possible DHL was the carrier choice around the holidays, as USPS had suspended shipments to Canada because of the strike.
