    Astro pneumatic is known for quality products, and this is no exception. The rubber grip has a secure feel, and the locking chuck is a nice feature. The gauge produces consistent, repeatable results (I checked). I am very happy with this purchase.

    For proper tire inflation this is the tool you need.

    If you own a car and a compressor you need this to properly inflate your tires. It is easy to use, well built and very accurate. I have had dozens of tire pressure gauges and inflation devices. This combines both and makes it even more accurate and easier to use. Why use two devices and not get an accurate reading. Modern cars have automatic tire pressure monitoring system and if the pressure is not set properly you will see a warning on your dash. This device has two AAA batteries that should last years and is so easy to use. I did our cars and then tried it on my neighbors to make sure I was comfortable with it. Love it and will tell everyone I know that this is the right tool.

    Astor Tire Inflater

    Large size. Works great. Battery install/change is kind of a pain. Hopefully they last a long time before needing changing. Nice that hose swivels where it is attached to the body. Specification accuracy is a loose +/- 1.2 PSI. My unit read 1.4 PSI too low compared to 2 other digital gauges that I have that Spec at +/- 0.5 PSI and both read the same. Display resets to zero during inflation to prevent false readings.

    Every bit as good as the Blue Point model.

    The locking mechanism on the air chuck works really well and holds great. (That was my worry) Very easy to use and I like that it shuts off on it's own to preserve battery life. Some reviews say that the battery is tough to get to, but I would disagree. I guess "Tough" can be a very vague term. It is sealed in good and that's what will make it last. Great price point for sure!
