Small and reliable
I chose this amp for 4 channel set-up in my 16 mustang. I wasn't sold on the tiny class D models claiming huge numbers and excellent sound, so I opted for this to have more of a traditional set of features and low current draw. Im also using a self powered sub setup, so I didnt need monstrous power from this. It does seem to be all its advertised to be, Im very happy so far. It also came with bare wire end RCA connections so a line-level device is not needed, it can handle the stronger (speaker level) signal into RCA jacks. Only thing I have to complain about is the "output" RCAs are not passthrough signal to another amp..they appear to be for INPUT from the head unit if only one set is used..wasted since you can use the "A" RCA inputs for that purpose..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I'm a huge Pioneer fan and this amp set it off just right. It's much smaller than my previous amp but twice as powerful. It's a lovely deal for the price. This amp is great to power 2 10 kicker woofers at 400 watts rms each a total of 800 what's rms.. Great amp small but powerful I was able to mount on the rear seats of my 2008 Silverado crew cab with no problem compared to other bigger amps. Great value for a known brand!!

Impresive Quality
Installed these on factory speakers of an Elantra 2017 (the one with 6 speaker system) and I have to say they came to life with the clean power this amp provides! The high pass filter brings a lot of detail to any music I play. Being factory speakers there's almost no noise in the background. More than premium wiring was used. I'm driving 2 6"x9"s (100 watt rms, 4 ohm) in addition to 2 6" speakers (75 watt rms, 4 ohm) with this amp and it sounds heavenly. Small but strong
This little amp packs a punch, if running 4 ohm speakers it produces 100 watt rms and that is plenty for my setup plus this thing is tiny. Makes for a clean install

Great Amp
I did my research and this pioneer amp. Is the best choice there was one other amp that only put out 15 more watts but was a $125.00 dollars more so I bought the Pioneer Amp and I am more than satisfied with my purchase. All I can say is thanks Pioneer for making such a great amp I have bought two a 9601 and a 8604 and VERY HAPPY WITH BOTH AMPS.
