Nice family oriented movie
For people that like Chariots of Fire, this movie is in the same genre. Although not all factual, it's a nice way to spend an evening or two. Great period film!

Great Entertaining Movie of the 1st Olympics of 1896 !!!
As a former track & field runner have always enjoyed movies about running and this TV mini-series from 1984 is still enjoyable to watch. David Ogden Stiers along with a young David Caruso and cast did a great job on portraying the events leading up to and the actual events of the 1st modern Olympic games in Greece in 1986. While certain portions of the movie were made up and not factual it still provides an insight of what took place during this time for many of the athletes who competed in the 1st modern Olympic games. This remastered 2 DVD set has great picture & sound quality. Highly recommended !!!
