      Easy cooking: sous vide

      A couple of details that are a bit irksome: no manual included (probably up in the sky for download, but I haven't hunted for it yet). Roller tends to flip itself out of position. What this does fantastically, however, is to seal food for two purposes: freezing (since you vacuum out air, there's no freezer burn and you can customize the size of the "bag" you use) and creating packets that can be cooked sous vide which is a method well worth using.

      LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY FOODSAVER!

      I have always loved having my FoodSaver, but recently I started buying more FoodSaver containers (the Deli, oval snack size, and square sandwich size). Using those containers has liberated me to not feeling compelled to serve the same thing over and over again before it goes bad...because it doesn't go bad, at least not for at least a week. Especially my deli meats and cheeses are fresh and aren't smashed together like they were when I used the bags only. Love it!
