True essence of Laura Branigan
This album is wonderful. Laura full circle, aching ballads, throbbing dance and new vocals on Gloria and Self Control 2004. All of the cuts were previously released as singles by Laura Branigan in the last years of her life, and it leaves me wanting more. Her voice is as strong as ever, rich, lush and passionate. She's true Velvet Thunder, vulnerable and powerful at once. What a loss to the music world in her passing. It's clear that she was ready to touch our souls and break our hearts all over again, for many more years. RIP Laura, and bravo! Xo
