You get what you pay for
This was the only garbage disposer I found with a 12 year warranty. It is fast and quiet and I have not found anything that it cannot handle, including mountains of potato peels. You can actually hear the tv while running it and there are times it barely emits noise over the sound of the water. You must have the rubber drain insert in place though to have that quiet and while not tight it does restrict the water flow just a bit. Not enough for me to complain, just pointing it out. All in all, I am glad that I sprung for the extra dollars for it and the extended warranty.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
