      Great time tested product!

      If you're ok with assembling very small parts, and want to save money, this is a great alternative. Need steady hands though. Hardest part is inserting the coupler spring in the right position, but after a few of them, you figure out a process and the rest go smoothly.

      Microtrains Quality

      Microtrains couplers are the gold standard in model railroading. I questioned buying these unassembled couplers as I am 61 and my eyes aren't 21 anymore, but with a little help from a magnifying glass and some patience, I got all the couplers assembled just fine(sans one that I crushed the spring). So, if you have patience ( and good eyes or good ocular assistance) you can save yourself lots of $$ by buying these unassembled couplers.

      Switching couplers? These are the way to go.

      I'm switching all my N-scale train stuff from the stock out of scale toy European style couplers to the more realistic and better quality Micro Trains/Kadee brand so they are just what I was looking for . I'll probably order more in the future.

      Kadee MTL couplers are GREAT.

      Great N scale couplers. And body mounts are the best. Only a little difficult for my nimble fingers to assembly. Next time I'll go the extra cost for ones already assembled. But still well worth the money.
