Very nice design Pleasant appearance on the counter
We love this waffle maker! The first two waffles stuck a little but after those two we used a little non-stick spray and they fall out now. They are perfectly and evenly brown from the edges to the middle and soft inside. Waffle after waffle they turn out great every time. We especially love the fact that we can make two waffles at once, and in fact it is like an assembly line in that as you take one out and pour batter in for a new one your second one is cooking and each time one is done another is already cooking so wait time is virtually cut in half or more compared to a single waffle maker. Good waffle maker but will probably eventually break - if you eat as many waffles as we do.
We used it probably 3 times a week for over two years so it got a lot of use. After a few months, the tabs on the side wouldn't click and stay level. The back part just broke off over the swivel joint. Also, maybe we didn't prime it right but it's not non-stick anymore unless you coat it with tons of oil. It still cooks waffles but we're looking to get a new one now. So it works for a good amount of time but may eventually break.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very pleased with my purchase! Wanted to put my new/used waffle maker to the test and it passed with flying colors! Invited 8 people over for chicken and waffles...Cranked out waffles for 8 in no time flat! Sprayed the waffle maker with cooking spray just to ensure that the waffles didn't stick. Great flip design and quality waffle maker
I looked for and found this Waring Pro waffle maker here on Ebay after it took first place in America's test kitchen waffle maker testing. Their pro's found it to be the most consistent and even cooking waffle maker out of more than a dozen. Their review was done a few years back and this model is no longer available. But I was fortunate to find this one barely used here on Ebay for a great price. The waffles are perfectly cooked each time. The ability to make two at time is also a great feature. I would say its only drawback is that is is quite large. But I have a friend I see one day a week who loves waffles. And I got tired of having to make waffles one at a time in my old Cuisinart model. So this was a great upgrade. The flip design also ensures the waffle batter distributes evenly. I have made them with blueberries which turn out great and also I just made them with a strip of bacon in each waffle. The bacon came out crispy and brought back memories of my mother who used to add bacon to our waffles when we were kids. It is well made and I like that it has an on/off switch as well. This model lacks a pilot light on the switch which would be nice. But it does have ready lights for each waffle side. They light and the maker beeps when it is ready for use or your waffles are done. It has a nice dial to set your doneness as well. Around 4 seems to produce a very nice crispy waffle. I am sure I will enjoy this for years to come. Waring Pro WMK600 Double Waffle Maker = Perfect Waffles!
This Waring Pro WMK600 is a classic, no longer made, double waffle maker. Occasionally a "new one" of these hits the market where the owner never used it. There is a beautiful red new one (very rare) now offered at $400. The Cuisinart company makes one that looks similar but the components are not the same as the Waring WMK600 so don't be fooled. The Waring Pro WMK600 does not have the word Cuisinart anywhere on it, so look carefully! I wanted to use mine, so I was thrilled to find this one from a terrific eBay seller who responded to my questions instantly. It is barely used - till I got it - and it makes perfect waffles. It beeps to tell you when to pour in the batter and beeps to tell you when they are ready. The dial for settings between light and dark give's you the ability to finish your waffles just how you like them. It's a breeze to clean as any extra cooked batter easily falls away from the non stick waffle irons with a paper towel. I've bought several waffle makers and this is the best of them all. I've never had a waffle maker that made waffles this deep as well as this dark/crispy. The only bad thing I would say is I would've liked if there was a removable drip pan at the bottom so that any overflowing batter could be easily washed off.
