Packing was impeccable: parts were placed in individual bags or cased in bubble wrap, with styrofoam peanuts inside the model's original box, plus more peanuts between that and the immensely sturdy outer box. The item was actually better seen in person than in the description on line. And the price was absolutely appropriate.
