    The cast iron waffle iron arrived quickly and intact and was as described. The shipping box was a bit flimsy for the weight of this item and arrived crushed with a hole in it. Fortunately the item itself was fine. The seller might want to use a sturdier box and/or more packing material if shipping any similar items realizing this might impact the shipping cost.

    Great for referees!

    I purchased this for myself and my 12-year old to referee. I've bought a few other timers, but they were difficult to set and not intuitive. This one is easy to set and easy to read. It beeps with a few seconds to go, then when the time is up, it beeps and starts counting up. I find this to be an ideal timer when I referee. I have not had any issues with bumping the buttons - I keep it in my shirt pocket. If I need to change the time (for instance, one team requested quarters instead of halves, so I needed to adjust accordingly), it only takes a few seconds to make the adjustment. The fact that it starts counting up after the timer completes is also helpful, as then I know how long the break has been. Overall, I find this to be very easy to use, and would definitely recommend. ...

    So good I bought it again!

    I bought this same model 4 years ago and I have been so happy with it that I bought it again. My old one is still working, but I've cracked and smashed the glass on the face. I did this a few months ago but it's been working great even with the glass boo-boo. I use the countdown feature for my swim aerobics and it's really been a big help - I hated counting each darn movement. I've gotten it soaked many times, it really is water-resistant!
