Baseball and forgiveness, what is not to like about this book?
For fans of John Grisham, baseball and just a well written book, this is a 5 star winner. I particularly loved the depiction of America in those times not rife with the problems of today. It took me back to a childhood in which America was still a country in which one could believe in. It also hit on all cylinders as a story of forgiveness, no matter the manner or time frame in which it is given.
