    A fitting homage to the original Ironclad

    It is a compelling look at the middle ages with graphic battle scenes and plenty of gore but well-defined characters with strong loyalties to their families and fellow bretherin. It is hard to hate either side because of these loyalties and strong beliefs .It is a fitting sequel to the outstanding original Ironclad although a little too close in formula to the original. I gave it four stars because it is better than most movies about this era and much more visceral.
