quality is very good
Look if I compare the end results if tormec sweeden sharpening machine to me using my hand japaneese water stones - The japaneese water stones wins all the way as for edge sharpnes and durabily. Yet using the tormec is less time and results are good enough yet not as good as using a 1000 grite japaneese water stone and the a 6000 grit japaneese waterstone. The quality of a japaneese water stones like NANIWA is remarkable and simply imposible to wun by a sweedish machine or any machine . I use the tarmac for creating a bevel if needed at all but for maintainance I sharpen by hend and get amazing results. Tormec stone let me renew the grit on the tormec machine for constant 220 grit (I do not use the 1000 grit side because I get better result with hand sharpening using my NANIWA stones) ...
