I have found that attenuating the signal coming in from the antenna works better than amplifing. THe amp itself does what it claims. Probpably works better in frenge areas not close to intercity coverage.

At first, I thought this new unit I just bought was junk, but then I remembered my original amplifier had a built in FM trap and this new unit did not. I then dug through my storage box of TV accessories and found an FM notch filter that I used for the old analog TV system. After installing this filter ahead of the new amplifier, I was able to receive many distant TV stations decently.
