First the cons: the body is all plastic, including the headband, which I find leaves my forehead a little sweaty pretty much instantaneously. The side screws take a little work to get tight enough to hold the top-heavy lens side up and the snaps used to hold the lens in place are quite delicate (more plastic), so you don't want to be swapping out lenses every 5 minutes. Choose an appropriate one, and stick to it if you want the product to last. The focal length is, of course, inversely proportional to the magnification, which means you'll need to be pretty close to your target if you're using the 3.5x. Even with the 2x, you have to be within 14cm (from the lens, about 20cm from your eyes) to see things clearly -- but that's physics, not a manufacturing issue, so I just mention it as a caveat if you've never used the likes of these before. Notwithstanding the above the pros with this thing, in my opinion, far outweigh the cons, especially considering the low price. My #1 reason for settling on these was a review that pointed out that, even if the description states the lens material as "Acrylic", they're not: it's glass. Clean, clear and distortion-free glass, and they are awesome. This is the main reason for the "top heavy" effect, and I'll gladly readjust the side screws periodically in exchange for a clear view of what I'm working on. The all-plastic body construction has an upside as well: it keeps everything else light. Now I'm going to find a way to add a layer of cotton or something to the headband, and these should be perfect for my work on PCBs. Read full review

Side screws did not tighten head set, With a little work on the plastic washer rounding out the hole to make it larger, with a round file everything worked out nice and tight.

To change the lenses, you have to use your fingernails to yank out the two gray plastic 'screws'. This takes a good yank and you better have strong fingernails (I do). Very quickly you can switch to one of four power lenses; which are good quality glass, not plastic. This means that the whole visor is heavy, of course. It is also awkward to keep it looking straight forward as it is rather top-heavy. Still like it, though.

I can use both of my hands while working any kind of stuff. Works great. I kinda have to adjust every time the sides screws but is not a big deal. I'm very happy with the purchase. I used this every day and it saves me a lot of time. I'm very happy with the item.
