My tip is, if you have a bike that is front-end heavy (like my Hypermotard), it's easier to raise the front end by lifting the front wheel by hand, and kicking a brick under the tyre, before tightening the strap on the rear end. I also purchased the Abba Ducati V1 Motorbike Spindle, to make it easier and less dirty to fix the strap to the rear end.
