The thermometer is of good quality ,solid and robust .Easy to read dial .
I was more than happy with the thermometers I bought ,they are solid and easy to read .The clip on the side seems more than adequate to hold them on the side of any pot .and the spike is sharp enough to penetrate the skin of the toughest pork roast ..
