For what it is
This is the first time I have owned or needed a KVM switch, so for what it is it works fine!! Though I personally think the overall design could be a bit more "efficient" like cable management could be better and it COULD feature a wall mount option, it is well built and does what I need it to do!! I do like the idea that the company selling this offers "kit form" wiring solutions as well!! But I do wish the thing didn't take up the real estate it does on my physical desktop as it does!!! But overall this isn't a huge issue either, though more a cosmetic thing than anything else!! Like I say if there was a wall mount for it, or a way to directly fasten it to a wall behind my desk that would be insanely cool, but as far as performance goes I can over look that small detail!!! The Price is Right. I didn't need the extra cable since I already have them so no sense in paying for cables you don't need. I have several systems that get cumbersome one I have to unplug the keyboard and mouse to get input on the device I want to switch to. I needed something quick to wear I just press a button to switch by keyboard and mouse inputs. This device took care of that and could not be beat for the price. Only downside is that it toggles through all the inputs. So if you are only using two devices you have to press the button several times to get it to the system you wanted to work with. This can be solved by running dual USBS to the empty slots so you just have to press the button once in you'll get it to work with just one button clickThe Price is Right. Worked out of the box. Lo cost.
KVM switches are fussy. Not every switch works with every collection of computers controlled by the switch. I usually have to try 2-3 before I find one that works with my group of computers. This one worked out of the box. The cost at less than $13 delivered is outstanding value.

KVM 4 port
Great value, no flaws. But when I log off one computer there is a hum from the monitor. May be a problem with monitor rather than KVM, but it is a change from previous behavior. The fix is to switch to another port on the KVM, not a big deal.
